Hubbies birthday tomorrow (9th of October). So I have , as requested made a chocolate cake for his special day. The recipe is from a book I have had since I was young, it is called The Usbourne First Cookbook and I think it is the first one my mum bought us. Anyway, it’s a great recipe and I’m pleased with the result.
I would have rather liked to have decorated it with strawberries or raspberries, but the child in hubbie wanted hundreds and thousands so that’s what his highness has got! Now the only problem is that I just realised the birthday cake candles are packed and sent to the new house. Oopsey!
