So, the move went well, and we have finally got Internet up and running. I have been busy making ice lollies, the one above is a “Yogi pop”.
* 500g Plain Yogurt
* 1 chopped Mango (or other fruit, about a large handful, raspberries are good)
* 1/2 vanilla pod
* a little sugar, if needed

Directions……… put a tbsp of water and the fruit, seeds from 1/2 vanilla pod and sugar (if using) into a saucepan. cook until the fruit is soft and mushable. When cooled stir gently into the yogurt leaving large chunks if you like. Spoon into moulds then leave to set.

These ones are sorbet ones, I preferred the yogurt ones and hubbie preferred these sweeter ones.
How to make the sorbet;
* 500g fruit (I used peaches, fresh or tinned but rinse the tinned ones first)
* 5oz caster sugar

Directions……Add fruit and sugar to a saucepan. Pour over enough cold water to cover the fruit. Cook over a low heat for 5 mins, til fruit softens, but doesn’t go mushy. Using a slotted spoon transfer to a bowl and let cool slightly. Then pop into a blender and whizz til combined. Put juices back on heat and reduce a little by boiling. Allow to cool a little then add to blender with fruit and whizz again. Spoon into moulds, let cool, then pop in freezer.

(I got both these ideas from a magazine, Prima, then adapted them)
