- 3oz butter
- 3oz sugar
- 1oz of cocoa
- 2 or 3 tbsp of Golden Syrup or Honey
- A few handfuls of Cornflakes
Directions;
*Add butter, sugar and syrup to a saucepan over a medium heat. Stir until butter has melted.
*Add cocoa/chocolate powder and keep stirring until the sugar has melted and is no longer “gritty”. Take off of the heat and stir in cornflakes a handful at a time until covered.
*Finally spread onto a greaseproof surface, I use paper, and leave to set in the refrigerator.
Try adding extras like maltesers, smarties, nuts, marshmallows, the possibilities are endless.
Then cut into squares and enjoy. I like these better than ones made with chocolate as they are chewy. So if you like them like that this is for you,
