There is other evidence of my love of the chocolate and orange combination on my blog so I just had to make this brownie recipe when I stumbled across it on Recipezaar. Oh, and yes I did buy the oranges because they were gift-wrapped and beautiful.
Fudgy Orange Brownies
- Preheat oven to 160 c.
- Mix together oil and sugar.
- Add eggs, vanilla, zest, and juice.
- Mix well.
- Sift together dry ingredients.
- Add to wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour into greased 8×8 baking pan.
- Bake 20-23 minutes until done.
- Allow to sit at room temperature at least 30 minutes before cutting.
They were so good.
And below. Just to prove that I can make a lemon meringue with a set lemon centre. Yipee.

I love your LMP! I need to do it again to see the difference. My mini tarts were fine and I gave away the big one. I will never know what happened because I know my neighbors won’t say if it was bad.
These brownies sound awfully good as well…
